On November 30, 2007, KMG America Corporation (KMG America) became part of the Humana, Inc. family of companies.
The convergence of KMG America and Humana will combine Humana’s market presence, brand and financial strength with Humana Specialty Benefits' demonstrated expertise in ancillary group and voluntary benefit products and the administrative capabilities of KHS.

For nearly 50 years, an extensive voluntary benefit portfolio has been developed and offered through Kanawha and KHS.
