PIA of Mississippi

The Professional Insurance Agents Association of Mississippi was chartered in 1938 as the Mississippi Mutual Agents Association. The association was organized by independent insurance agents to promote professional principles in the writing of fire, casualty, and surety insurance. Our independent agent members are the first line of defense for the insurance buying public against unfair insurance practices. It is our intent to work closely with the legislature and the Mississippi Insurance Department to accomplish this purpose. Our goal is to make the best insurance product available to the public in the areas of price, coverage, and fair claims handling.
