CHICAGO–Renaissance, the premier network of independent insurance agencies, has acquired the agency network business of Consolidated Insurance Agents Inc. (CIA), an agency group based in Buffalo, N.Y.
The arrangement gives CIAโs 23 members โ which collectively represent $47M in premium โ the opportunity to leverage the same benefits that help Renaissanceโs members improve their agency efficiency, drive revenue, and increase profitability.
Renaissanceโs network benefits include expanded market access, placement services, technology and service resources for independent insurance agents looking to grow their business and maximize efficiency. Additionally, the acquisition bolsters both CIA membersโ financial stability and carrier contract value in an increasingly competitive market environment.
โWeโre thrilled to start the new year with CIA being part of our business expansion strategy, which we plan to continue well into 2025,โ said Robert Bondi, Renaissanceโs Chief Executive Officer. โRenaissanceโs products and services are engineered to fuel the success of independent agencies, and weโre looking forward to being able to provide them to yet another group whose growth goals align with ours.โ
โSince 1983, CIAโs mission has been to cultivate long-term relationships with our carriers based on honesty, trust, and profitability,โ said CIA President Carl Maranto. โIn Renaissance, we found a partner that not only embraces that same philosophy but also has the capability to deliver valuable resources to our members.โ
