NFP Acquires Associated Agency Group
Acquisition expands NFP property & casualty offerings and growing presence in Pacific Northwest region
NEW YORK — NFP, a leading insurance broker and consultant that provides employee benefits, property & casualty (P&C), retirement and individual private client solutions, announced today it has acquired Associated Agency Group, LLC (AAG). The transaction closed on March 10, 2017.
AAG is a full-service P&C insurance broker headquartered in Kennewick, Washington, with six additional locations across the state. The firm offers expertise in personal and commercial P&C insurance. Lonnie Butcher, CEO of the firm, will join NFP as a strategic consultant, and Shannon Hill, Operations Director, will become Director of NFP P&C. Both will report to Ed Kurowski, Regional President of NFP’s Mountain States region.
