Des Moines, IA — Joy Marie Heldt, age 48, of Madrid was recently charged with Fraudulent Submissions (Class D Felony) following an insurance fraud investigation by the Iowa Insurance Division’s Fraud Bureau.
The charge stems from an investigation that began in March of 2018. It is alleged that Heldt engaged in submitting a fraudulent application for insurance coverage to an insurer. Heldt’s Iowa insurance producer license was revoked by the Iowa Insurance Division in March of 2018.
On June 6, 2018, Heldt was arrested and booked into the Polk County Jail.
