Tampa Bay area insurance groups merge to offer improved options for customers
CLEARWATER, FL — Clegg Insurance Group and Advanced Insurance Brokerage announced on the signing of a new deal, which will merge the companies’ property and casualty coverage portfolios.
Together, the two companies will offer new and existing customers a wider range of product offerings, greater efficiency and improved customer service with the same local flair.
Additionally, as part of the merger, AIB will retain its original team of insurance professionals and its Anna Maria Island location.
Since 2010, AIB has remained committed to providing quality coverage options, coupled with a vast network of leading insurance carriers. The company has continually provided their customers with comprehensive, reliable insurance policies spanning from auto, home, health, life, and commercial.

In 2013, Clegg Insurance acquired Florida Insurance Partners in Safety Harbor, and in 2014 Clegg Insurance acquired Hopf & Hopf, a Tampa-based insurance firm.

Clegg founded his company in 2010 and his company now employs 10 people in the Tampa Bay area while continuing to look for further opportunities to expand.
