Department of Insurance and Financial Services (DIFS) Issues Cease and Desist Order to Stop Unlicensed Activity
LANSING, MI — The Michigan Department of Insurance and Financial Services (DIFS) has issued a Cease and Desist Order against Adam Michalik, also known as Adam Heaphy, of Harrison Township, Michigan.
DIFS obtained information that Michalik was using the agency name “Premier Insurance Agency” to sell fraudulent auto insurance policies to Detroit residents.
“Consumers who purchased auto insurance from Michalik should review what they purchased and contact DIFS with any questions,” said DIFS Director Patrick McPharlin.
