Oceanpoint Insurance Announces Addition Of Paquin Insurance Agency
MIDDLETOWN, RI — Paquin Insurance Agency has joined OceanPoint’s growing organization in Rhode Island. Agency Principal Rick Paquin has accepted a position as Vice President for OceanPoint, and he and his brother, Greg, will continue to serve the local community from their office in Tiverton.
Doug Mayhew, President, and CEO of OceanPoint Insurance, described the recent agreement as mutually beneficial for both agencies. “Clients have placed their trust in Paquin Insurance for over 50 years. At OceanPoint Insurance, we respect that reputation and look forward to continuing their legacy of delivering quality service and products to residents and businesses throughout the community,” said Mayhew.
“When we learned that OceanPoint was looking to expand in the region, it made sense to join an organization that shares our values and can provide additional options for our personal and business customers,” said Rick Paquin, who has overseen Paquin Insurance with his brother, Greg, since they began managing the family business in 1998.
All seven employees, including Rick and Greg, will remain at the 651 Main Road office location in Tiverton.
