Kemper Preferred markets and sells automobile, homeowners and other personal lines property and casualty insurance. The company’s predecessors date back to 1926; Kemper’s personal lines business was acquired by Unitrin, now known as Kemper Corporation, in 2002.

Today, Kemper Preferred works with more than 4,700 independent insurance agents who provide customers with a choice of insurance companies, policies and insurance programs designed to meet their individual needs.
