Much like an independent insurance agent, we have agreements with a large group of markets (lenders), we field underwrite, package, submit financing deals to our underwriters and then manage the process. STG offers more than 30 different lending programs custom built for the insurance space. Our competitors offer one. We are considered the “Lending Tree” of the insurance lending space. Our loans are cash flow based, blue sky, non-hard asset back loans. If you are using hard collateral (like Real Estate or securities) to back your loan, we will not be as competitive. Our customers value our programs because we can use the cash flow of the agency to collateralize the loan. These are very specialized lending platforms.
